World without boundaries and the rapid changes of the information technologies nowadays are found to be barriers in government departments and agencies in order to compete and providing the best service within modern society.

Assessment Portal Website the Government of Malaysia 2009 report revealed only 7 web sites, or 0.65 percent from 1,192 portal and web site operations of government ministries and agencies listed on the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDEC) acquire five star rating.

Therefore, RAC not to be left behind in the pursuit of modernization broadband and increase sensitivity to the changes occurred in the world of information technology. As an agency responsible for the management and development of railway assets, it is important to provide accurate information and efficient services to meet the needs of stakeholders and its customers.

The introduction of a new look RAC’s website is to replace the website which was used previously. The new website specifies the information regarding of RAC’s Management Service and Administrative Department and Property Management and Development Department and expected to be a useful reference. It is also expected, this new website may contribute to the enhancement of RAC, to be more facilitate and improve the efficiency of the RAC in terms of delivery of services to clients.

With this new website, I look forward that RAC may contribute to support the inspiration of 1 Malaysia: “People First, Performance Now” inspired by the leadership of the Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak.
