1. How to apply for a railway land rental?

Public / companies can apply for a railway land rental by filling up the RAC/H-01 form which can be obtained from the website www.rac.gov.my or come to the office of the Railway Assets Corporation at the address listed on the website.

2. How long is the approval of a rental application?

Approval will be obtained within 60 days.

3. How to find out on whether an area is a railway land or not?

Applicants who wish to apply for a railway land rental can make a site plan review in the office of the Land and District area or make a formal search in this office for a fee of RM50 for each application.

4. What is the procedure to be followed for an application?

Applicant must fill up the RAC/H-01 form and attached a copy of the applicant's identity card, location’s photo and a copy of the site plan. For company’s application, applicant shall also include a copy of the Memorandum of Articles and a copy of a small body of law.

5. How to know the rental rate of a site?

The rental rate is a current rental rate which will be determined by the Valuation and Property Services after approval is obtained in the Rental and Leasing Railway Lands committee meeting.
